Canada Post: Effective October 11, 2025, Canada Post and the CUPW moved from a full, national strike to rotating strikes. Postal services will start resuming next week, but delays should still be expected due to uncertainty and instability.
Canada Post will first process mail and parcels already in the network. New commercial volumes won’t be accepted until Wednesday, October 15, and on-time delivery guarantees and date-specific Neighbourhood Mail remain suspended. Read more.
UPS: Effective September 28, 2025, and until further notice, UPS will implement a $0.75 CAD Surge Fee on all Air and Ground shipments within Canada on ShipStation.
Purolator: Effective September 30, 2025, Purolator has implemented a temporary $15.00 surcharge that affects shipments to select rural postal codes, including across Atlantic Canada, Quebec outside of Montréal/Québec City, Northern Ontario, and rural parts of the Prairies and BC. Purolator apologizes for the inconvenience.
Global Carriers
GlobalPost: Effective October 27, 2025, GlobalPost will reinstate normal routing for all services, including for the Global Advantage Program (GAP). The Canada DDP feature will also be reinstated for use. Learn more.
Royal Mail:Effective 29th September 2025, Royal Mail services to Canada will be suspended and will hold items destined for Canada until the CUPW national disruption is over.
USPS: USPS will continue to pick up, accept, and transport mail and packages to Canada, while monitoring the situation closely. Effective October 3, 2025, the USPS will continue to accept but will temporarily suspend the guarantee on PMEI destined for Canada. Learn more.

Update - Australia Post has advised that they plan to resume postal services to the United States (US) and its overseas territories on or before, Thursday 25 September 2025.
Update - You are now required to provide Manufacturer Identification (MID) codes on your customs forms, as U.S. customs will be checking all shipments valued under $800.
Australia Post has advised that international US and Puerto Rico shipments originating in Australia are partially suspended effective August 26th.
Monitoring - Effective 21st of August, all US-bound shipments from Australia will be paused due to uncertainty around the new tariffs. The Sendle team is working on releasing a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service, and we will provide an update once this is available.
